W.S. Graham (1918-1986) is the author of various collections of poetry, including Cage without Grievance (1942), 2ND Poems (1945), The Nightfishing (1955) and Implements in Their Places(1977). Two posthumous volumes have followed, as well as his New Collected Poems (Faber, 2004). Since his death in 1986 Graham’s reputation has risen considerably and he is now considered one of the great British poets of the 20th Century. A bilingual selection of poems will be published by Black Herald Press in 2012. W.S. Graham (1918-1986) est aujourd’hui considéré comme l’un des plus grands poètes britanniques du XXe siècle. Il publia plusieurs recueils de son vivant et ses New Collected Poems ont paru en 2004 (Faber). Un recueil en français paraîtra en 2013 (Black Herald Press, traduction Anne-Sylvie Homassel et Blandine Longre).
